Step 1 - Business Planning: For the seasoned veterans, we can skip this phase. But for the average SME (Small to Medium Enterprise) outsource planning is essential. Understanding the rules of the game, the competitive landscape, legal and cost implications... What are the duty rates? Can the product be shipped cost effectively? Will special packaging be required?  GlobalLink can help you determine if outsourcing will benefit your business.

Step 2 -- Tooling & 3D Design: You will work closely with our U.S. and China tooling engineers. We will conduct a pre-tooling design interview to review prints and any critical tolerances or design nuances. We will discuss production methods, material issues and constraints and agree to a joint plan that meets your quality specifications.

Quality Assurance – Begins here with our pre-tooling/production interview between our engineers.

Step 3 – Source Selection and Production: GlobalLink maintains a network of approximately 25 preferred vendor factories to manufacture our customer products. We will chose the best fit for your production and work with them throughout the process

Quality Assurance – off tool samples sent to both our QA Departments.

Step 4 – Customs Compliance: An initial trade review is conducted at the initial quotation stage to determine preliminary duty rates and identify any trade restrictions or potential issues (e.g., quotas, dumping orders, etc.) As your goods are getting prepared to ship, our trade experts will assign a final U.S. Customs Harmonized System Classification # (required by U.S. Law) and handle any other trade compliance related issues.

Quality Assurance – Production samples are sent again to both of our QA Departments to ensure that mass production samples are consistent with all specifications.
